I bought a new Yamaha motor from James Jr. I am glad l shopped around. These guys were the best! Very knowledgeable and Great customer service. I live 50 miles away from their shop and it was worth the drive! I dropped my boat off on the afternoon and they had the motor mounted and ready to go the next morning. I would highly recommend them! I am very happy with my purchase and will tell anyone who needs a motor to check them out first! Thanks James Jr. for all your help you made my decision easy!
Outstanding service from start to finish helping me repower an older boat. Responsive with questions, great with updates and very fair with prices. It was a four hour drive to get there from my home and I will do it again without checking anywhere else if I need anything outboard related. Would give 10 stars if able!!
James Jr and John saved the day. I bought a new vexus with a 250 sho from Lacannes and BMR flashed the computer and did the first oil change. After that I took it home and the motor would not trim up for some reason. Took it back to BMR and long story short had nothing to do with the work they did. It was a factory issue with the trim limiter pin not being installed correctly. I leave for LOTW in 2 days and they SAVED MY TRIP!!!
Bought a used engine from BMR in November 2025. When it arrived in the crate, took a quick look at it and it was the wrong engine. I called them and they instantly realized the mistake and quickly shipped out the right engine and return shipping which they paid. . After the cold winter I installed it and it ran great, just like their video showed, but found it had a problem where it would soon fail.
