A new VP who is also a Branch Manager of the bank is clueless. I want to transfer money from my account to my daughter's BMO account. I was told that it wasn't allowed. However I have done it 3 times before at this branch. Than the manager stated she would have to check to see if it was allowed. I know more about hiw it works than a VP of the bank. We’ve had BMO checking and savings accounts for more than 30 years. Recently we experienced an online banking login problem that remained unresolved after 1.5 hours of futility with BMO telephone customer support agents. Incredulously, we were ultimately instructed to physically visit a local BMO Branch office to reactivate our log-in credentials merely to enable on-line banking!!! Excellent BMO location, always a pleasure to go there for deposits from my work. Staff is beyond professional and friendly.
Teller girl's service was professional and she was very nice
Since the new branch manager took over, this bank has become much less convenient to use. The drive-through service is especially frustrating. The first lane for drive-through deposits is consistently closed, and only the second and third lanes are open. This is extremely inconvenient, especially during winter. I often have large checks and big deposits, and I specifically rely on the drive-through because I don’t always have time to go inside the branch.
