What an absolute dumpster fire of a financial institution - Poor service & Poor online banking experience. I spent 90 minutes on the phone and got zero resolution to my problem. 4 different reps guessed and speculated at causes. There was no effort or willingness to escalate my issue to find a resolution. The final answer was that I probably can't pay my loan in online banking anymore, but maybe it might work if I want to keep trying. Otherwise pay some other way. Today, I talked with a representative from BMO Harris Bank. They left a message on my phone to get in touch with them about some activity in my account. Some fraudulent charges were made. They found them after the first charge went through. They found out charges were fraudulent after charges for the same to amounts were being made. They were able to save the rest of my money after the first two repeated charges were being made. WARNING My mother has dementia. Park Ridge BMO location allowed two people with her to change her account, twice. They knew she had dementia. BMO did little to help with the situation they caused sighting their "policies". The incident was later reversed by BMO downtown Chicago after months of fighting, and we still lost money. One of the thieves acted as my mother making on line transactions, BMO did nothing. The thieves are known, and BMO has done nothing to protect or prosecute.
