Extremely poor customer service. They treated me like a criminal. My aunt banked here, and my family and I are trying to close her account. BMO owes her a refund but will not help us at all. The president and an office girl were more excited to tell me "No" over and over than there were in finding a solution. They wont take ownership of the problem even though its their own credit card.
0/10 experience, if I can't use my financial institution to do financial transactions like cash a paycheck without them adding all sorts of little stipulations and irritations that can be avoided by cashing a check at a walmart, then I see no reason to continue keeping accounts with BMO, a decade of banking with them, and I have nothing good to say.

My sister and I were at this bank representing our uncle with all power of attorney documents.only to be be turned away like criminals by the branch manager brad .we have reached out to corporate for assistance.no response.now we have to resort to legal assistance.his accounts have been frozen.our mother has money here as well.this bank is from canada.the corporate office told us they were not familiar with US laws????? I would not leave 1 penny of my money in this bank.see you in court!!!!!
