As of February 2nd the BMO banking branches decided to change their policies and become a complete inconvience to their long time customer base. My wife is disabled so it is not easy to get her out of the house especially in bad weather. I have been deposting $200 in her account for over 10 years now (I don't have an account as I refuse to deal with banks after a few problems in the past). There was an incident on December 3, 2024, when a manger at the bank, Cynthia screwed up my account by removing $29,000.00 CARELESSLY! I logged on the app and noticed I was out $29,000.00 and to my dismay I ran to the nearest bank to see what happened. It looks like my brother was helped the day before and wanted to make a savings account, and she pulled MY MONEY out instead of his. I was pissed! Hello Everyone I had a major financial issue with an unauthorized transaction on my account. But instead I was not given any help from Bank Manager Cinthia I have been a customer of BMO a long time unfortunately it means nothing to them I will be closing my account and recommending everyone I know to stay away. For future advice this institution needs to be more customer centered I will no longer consider opening a mortgage or business account. I hope they enjoy charging me those NSF fees.
