We took out a mortgage loan at the St. John location and was asked if we would want a credit card, at which time we said NO, but received a card in the mail anyways. My husband went to the branch and said we never wanted a credit card and was told we signed for it, but they refused to provide us with proof that we signed for it. A few months later, the credit card has closed due to inactivity, thus affecting our credit score. Wildly different service from this branch. Been at BMO since Blackhawks were amazing to get the atm card. Over a decade later, a simple service question couldn’t be met with “I’m really not sure, give it a day or two and see what happens” instead I got laughter from branch manager Enara?(only heard heard not seen it spelled lol) as she found humor in the many different ways and rages of frustration to the same question. Mia is the sweetest, most caring person ever! She is so good at her job, and always delivers the best customer service.
I am working with my 87 year old on a refinance of her home equity and we together have been working with an agent at the branch who is out on vacation. I called today to try and discuss the issue with the branch manager who absolutely refused to assist even though she knew I am assistant my senior parent on this. If all our ducks weren’t at BMO after talking to ignorant and rude branch manager I’d close every account that’s there.
