I had a business debit card and the bank canceled it because I didn't use it and I wasn't informed. I'm on a business trip and I start to use it and I get informed the bank will send me a new one to my house. But I'm 575 miles away on a 3,000 trip. I like to check the bank account at odd hours and next thing you know my account has locked me out. Then I have to call the 1800 and get my account set up again. This has happened about 3 times in the past year. Security is nice, but this gets to be a pain.
They get you in and out
We have been with Southwest Bank then BMO when they bought out Southwest. They are by far the worst bank around. Poor interest rates and no staff left. I cashed in our CDs today and am looking for a different bank. I have with them for over 40 years. Would not recommend them to anyone. No one there to even talk to about problems. No personal banks left to call you
A few years back we ordered several thousand dollars of Mexican pesos to be delivered to the downtown branch. In Mexico we discovered we had about $35 worth of Czech corunas mixed in with the pesos. When we returned it took a long time at the branch to finally receive a refund for the corunas we returned. I told the employee that it was the principle of it more than all the time it took to get a $35 refund.
