The ONLY thing that separates this big bank from any other big bank is the people who work there. It's policies, products and accessibility are nothing special. ATM closed at 5pm, But why? It is in the down town at peak atm needs when people actually get off work. Makes no sense it closed at 5 pm.
Today morning (September 11,2025) I went BMO bank in main street branch for my Bank statement. One lady with short hair gave me the bank statement, then I requested to put bank seal on paper of the statement because I need bank statement with bank seal, but that lady refused to do it, she said she never put bank seal on the bank statement. BMO issued a financial approval letter for a home buyer and the property sale firmed up pending closing date. Just 5 days prior to closing date we find out they are pulling out from financing it due to their “insurer”. It is my understanding that they should run a deal through their insurer PRIOR to issuing letters of approval. This is not ok for them to do this to a buyer and seller and I won’t be recommending BMO for financing homes when they pull out of deals at the last minute after approving financing and issuing letter... read more
