Don’t open a business account with BMO. Imagine having a 2.7 star rating from more than 40 reviews. Says a lot about the staff and policies at this Bank of Montreal. This whole organization is backwards. BMO prefers placing restrictive policies on small business owners, (and sticking to their guns) rather than prioritizing the people who make them hundreds of millions of dollars in profits each year. After closing the Qualicum Beach branch there's never enough staff at the Parksville branch, long wait times every time I have to see a teller, still have to wait a long time for a teller no improvement, sadly!
Zero assistance with Estate. Always told to contact someone else. No client advocacy. Absolutely useless.
Most regrettable banking experience of my life. Major disconnect between in person banking, management and online / phone support. No one could help with a simple request. Probably spend 20+ hours dealing with absolute nonsense. In person staff giving bad and contradictory advice. Absolutely would avoid this place at all costs. Literally go to any other bank.
