Writting on behalf of my dad, Dan Bangay. He is not good at this stuff. This branch has the worst customer service ever. He has been dealing with them for years for a multitude of issues and he is met every time with cynisism and blatent rudeness. Three days it had taken the Paris branch to not bother getting around to addressing a concern( a perfectly clearable held check) which was grately affecting my dads life, and was sorted out in minutes at one of the brantford branches.
This took place about a year ago to the date, and I should have wrote a review sooner, I took a little over $1,000 CAD to this bank ($1,090) CAD to be exact. (I was taking the money to the bank to get exchanged into USD) I told the chick “I don’t know how much is in there, around $1,000 CAD” when I actually knew the correct count, given a video I took of the cash in hand a couple hours before bringing it to the bank She goes to count the cash in the machine, long story short, I was missing a $50 bill and a $20 after the coun... read more
Recently, my wife and I visited the BMO Paris branch and had an exceptional experience. I want to particularly commend Sonia for her outstanding service. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive, taking the time to understand our needs and offering solutions that went beyond our expectations. I was the first one in line, waited a very long time and was not greeted or acknowledged. One teller was busy and the other one was working with what looked like a contractor as they were discussing changes to the interior of the bank. She walked by me several times with him and did not even acknowledge me while I waited for 20+ minutes. I would have appreciated a quick hello and to be given an idea of the wait time.
