Been with BMO for many years but I avoid actually going into the bank.never enough tellers on (usually only 1) and they stand around making small talk with seniors and business people far too much. Be professional, carry out the required tasks and help the next person,asking abouts,vacations and other non-banking topics is annoying as old people will yap for hours to whom ever will listen and business people just like to hear themselves talk. Really don't like their new policy on putting a hold on every check every one the last one I cashed still hasn't cleared it's been a week hate it I'm probably going to switch banks because of that policy it's been frustrating to have all my money taken and not given back for a week I worked hard for that money I worked for it I should be able to access it right away or I'm going to go somewhere else
Terrible place. Not even set up like a real bank. Unexperienced tellers. Always a line up to get help. Horrible service. Worst bank i have ever dealt with, I will be going back to CIBC!
I seldom have to enter the brick and mortar building and I am so glad I don't often have to. The line-ups and waits are unacceptable. Furthermore, my only reason for going was to deal with a faulty email sent from corporate head office. What a waste of time! Quick follow-up... lost all online access after my visit. Not a happy customer. BMO has lost a long-term client for sure.
