GIC came due and my new investor had sent a request to transfer 2 weeks before it was due. Tried to call and talk to someone and went in circles on the "choices" so in disgust went down to my Salmon Arm branch and closed out my cash account. I will be switching to another bank. This bank has no problem taking money from us, bur when it comes to us trying to call them every day of the week, they never answer, you leave a voicemail and they never call you back. I spent 1 hour driving to an appointment at the salmon arm location, and told them to stop processing payments into an investment account (as I am changing over banks) And the bank lady clearly told me, that no more payments will be coming out. Absolutely amazing service huge thanks to Britney!
BMO is not to be trusted. On three separate occasions, agents and a senior officer promised to resolve an issue within a given timeframe (within 24 hours, within 48 hours, and within a few hours). Not only did they fail to resolve the issue each time, but they didn’t even have the courtesy to follow-up or call back. This behaviour is not only unprofessional, but unsafe—and more closely resembles a scam agency rather than a reputable financial institution.
