I’ve had a very disappointing experience with the loan process at the Pembroke BMO branch. I met with a representative and, after that meeting, communication became extremely difficult. Despite sending multiple emails, making numerous phone calls, and leaving several voicemails, I received almost no response. Went into the bank today as I had a cancelled e-transfer on my email account . Both tellers said it was expired on me the sender . It wasn’t . I just wanted to see if it was legit . She proceeds to tell me to call 1-800 number . These tellers need more training I did proceed at home and it was legit . More training for these tellers . Oh yeah she forgot to give the customer before me her money .
I left BMO Pembroke today, June 30, 2024. I was not happy at all. I accompanied my son to address a problem with his account. We don't understand English, and we told the old lady this. She made no effort to help us understand anything. I was truly disappointed.
So…slow…. I know it’s not their fault but they need to hire WAY WAYYYY more staff. This is constantly an issue. A quiet day, even arriving before opening, I would be waiting over an hour.
Just renewed there and completely regret it. The lady we were dealing with has since completely ghosted us. She said was best to contact through email, I have sent 2 and no response. My husband has called and left a message, again no response. Guess who we won't be dealing with for our next home purchase or renewal. We were also going to switch all our banking to bmo since they have the military deals but that won't be happening anymore. Bank of the military blah blah blah...
