We recently switched to BMO... BIG BIG MISTAKE!!! I had the displeasure of dealing with Crystals bad attitude and customer service today when I was asking questions about our newish account. Because she couldn't grasp my super simple question, she defaulted to rude, condescending behavior. Enough that I will be switching back to TD.
ATM is closed?
If you ever decide to open a new account or use their services, just know that BMO bank is the worst option in Canada, one you definitely do not want to deal with for any matter. This review does not apply to the employees of a specific branch; good people work there.
You’d at-least like to be given a reason for why your money was placed on hold indefinitely, or for them to at-least TRY to resolve this issue for you…. But nope! I guess here at BMO I should just say “oh well, I didn’t need 700$ anyways” and move on because that’s what BMO would clearly like for me to do. My paycheques are legit and my accounts activity is only slightly strange. Even before this issue BMO has always been very unhelpful and unreliable. ONE BMO branch in town AND in their infinite wisdom decide to update BOTH ATM machines at the same time. Lack of intelligence in FSJ AND this town is evident!
