I am extremely disappointed with BMI Federal Credit Union. My experience with their mortgage loan process has been nothing short of a nightmare. Over the past three months, they have consistently wasted my time and energy. Despite already being a customer with an existing mortgage and banking relationship with them, I was treated as if I didn't exist. Communication was abysmal. Just started with then asked for direct deposit info they gave to me come pay day check gets bounced back to employer they gave me the wrong information they gave me new information then following week it's Repaeated ! Terrible first two weeks. Wouldn't recommend at all
Disclaimer: this has been years ago now and I had a consistent and fair income. These rates may not be offered to everyone. I started banking with bmi my junior year of high school and I'm 21 and got a car loan from them. 3.49% at 36 months and 3.99% at 48. No fees, no pay off early fees and interest depends on how early you pay it off (obviously). Big deal because a lot of banks fill loans with fees and interest is way higher than 3.49%.
