We had a great experience diving Captain Pascal and Dive Guide Duane from Blue Water Divers. We did 6 dives with them over 3 days. Pascal and Duane took us to the best dive sites, given the ocean conditions, and we ended up diving at the French Reef, Benwood Wreck, Christ Statue, City of Washington and Molasses Reef. Duane was very knowledgeable on the local history of all the dive sites. We saw rays, sharks, turtles, eel, grouper, tuna, crabs, lobsters and plenty of other marine life. Our group enjoyed 3 nice days of scuba 🤿 diving with Captain Pascal and dive guide Duane. They offered up a good selection of Key Largo sites taking into consideration safety, conditions and diver skill levels. The “Island Dancer” is not crowded (max 6 divers) and provides good cover from the hot Florida summer sun . Duane gave us a good tour and always found his way back to the boat . My first dives back after ACL surgery last summer and we certainly picked the right boat and crew. I love diving off a 6 pack…getting off and on the boat without a lot of other divers jockeying for position was so nice. I expressed my concerns about the post-dive ladder climb and we had a plan for me to take my gear off in the water, but I’m stubborn and tackled the ladder anyway. What an amazing day diving with Blue Water. No matter what company you go with, it won't change the weather, the water conditions, the reef or wreck. What makes a difference is the boat captain and the crew. If you like big crowds and cramped spaces - go somewhere else. But if a small intimate group of down to earth people who really know their business, who see you (because there's only a few of you) and who love the Key life - Blue Water is the best place for you. I'm definitely coming back.
If you’re looking for a more personal diving experience that doesn’t break the bank in key largo Florida, look no further. Our captain pascal runs a tight ship and our dive guide Duane was amazing!
