Giselle gave me very good advice and helped me select some beautiful Victoria Beckham makeup. There were some communication problems though.She didn't seem to be listening to what I said and often talked over me. For instance, when I asked to see a gray eyeliner, she grabbed a different one. The store is absolutely beautiful, especially after the renovations — it truly looks amazing. That said, as the only Black woman who frequently shops at this location, (and is usually the only person of color in the store) I often feel like I’m being watched. On one visit, no one greeted me at all. The second time, while the staff were at least smiling, only one person said hello while the others just looked on. My daughter and I visited Bluemercury in Chestnut Hill for some sunscreen and perfume. We were lucky enough to have Destiny help us. She is amazing and knew every product and has excellent product knowledge. She even matched a perfume I was looking for.
