I was thoroughly impressed and grateful to Michaela who helped me a few weeks ago in Blue Mercury at the Charleston King Street location. I came in knowing I would need assistance in choosing a new skin care regimen. She was so patient and truly knew each product line. She walked me through the best products for my skin, sequence of application and she simply was charming to work with. I was there last week asking if by any chance had the limited Christmas edition of Dior lipsticks. The sales assistant slurred: “we dont sell THAT brand here” with an obvious disgust. Then proceeded to loudly comment to her colleague that maybe they should sell some Dior lipsticks with a sarcastic tone and they both laughed. I dont know what is so wrong about Dior or lipsticks, but I do know I left and will not be coming back.
One hears of “above and beyond” but I actually got to experience it firsthand! Brian, the salesman extraordinaire, did not have every product I wished for on a Saturday afternoon. I told him I just would go with out because I was going out of town so he brought it to my home on a Sunday afternoon. How does one express proper koodos for such an amazing commitment to service?? 6 out of 5 stars
I was in the store on King st yesterday 8/10. At the OGEE table, sampling from a lipstick when the male sales associate walked up behind me very abruptly telling me where the utensils were to sample the product…. I held up the little white plastic tool and said “you mean like the one I’m using” as I held it up in front of him. He immediately spins around and walks to the front of the store.
