Highly recommend the beautiful beechwood nursing home they took such wonderful care of our dear father there providing him with activities to help his stay enjoyable it also created mixing with other residents in the facility, they offered many great activities one night we rang to find out he was out on a bus trip at night to see the Christmas lights absolutely fantastic for him as he was difficult to mobilise but the outings provided stimulation and a chance to get around helping them significantly in there latter stage of... read more
CARE is the focus here. I have worked in aged care for 35 years. But when a person you love is end of life, this service delivered. Staff are professional and kind. Listened to my relative, responded thoughtfully and gently to their needs. The registered nurses were responsive and professional, monitoring pain, proactively seeking external advice to ensure my relative was comfortable and as pain free as possible. Just love the staff here. So incredibly kind and caring. Our mother who is a resident here loves it. That means a lot to our family to know she is somewhere where she is both cared for and respected. Dogs are welcome on a lead and that is a bonus for us especially when you spend time away from your home. Special little things like the staff knows the likes and dislikes of the residents, areas designated for events, cake supplied and staff singing for the residents birthdays and the list goes on.
