Having seen the negative reviews I was anxious about my husband Don going into the secure dementia unit at Alkira Toogoolawah. I have to disagree with them all, I am finding Don's care, his meals and lovely room are wonderful. Please people, those who may be put off by the negative comments, go and visit, you will be presently surprised. Grateful wife Reina Archer. 🤗 I continue to be delighted with Don's care and today I arrived to find the 2 staff doing Karioke, singing merrily with residents joining in. Just lovely.🥰

The amount every resident has to pay fortnightly.The service, FOOD,care has been APPALLING. The Residents still have to pay the SAME amount $$$$, even when the Food, Care is atrocious. Our Aged Care Residents deserve RESPECT !!
This facility has changed hands six months ago and according to staff and resident’s families, has plummeted in the care provided, with staffing cuts, redundancies and increases in the cost to the clients. Residents have taken up the matter with the local federal M.P. The situation is being investigated.
