My elderly mother moved into Nazarene last week. I can't thank all the staff for their genuine care and kindness helping mum get settled. Mum is loving it - the attention she receives, the 3 course meals, the activities filling her day have all been amazing. Her Deluxe Room with large ensuite is exceptional. She has her own furniture and belongings and we have made her room her home sweet home. Enormous thank you to all staff including those behind the scenes that have made mum's transition so easy.
The staff seem not at all happy to be there and so not a pleasant place to walk into when I go to visit, which would be fine except it seems an inconvenience to even be cheerful when speaking to the residents. The residents are not at all treated as individuals but as a single group who need to fit in with the staff schedule. Which is disappointing as this is now their home. Underskilled and undertrained staff with no genuine care for residents. Relationships with the residents need to be made which isnt easy when there is a language barrier.
