Really great local spot with great food and a friendly owner. Owner mentioned the menu would change next week, so it sounds like the menu changes regularly. I will definitely visit again. There is very limited seating for dining in.
Found this little out-of-the-way place as a restaurant along our route from N.O. to Baton Rouge. Although items were pre-made, they were really quite delicious. The owner/ chef clearly knows how to balance and layer flavors. Lightly citrused hummus, savory chicken with the strawberry salad and chicken corn salad with just a little kick to make it interesting. And the parlor for dining was homey and adorable
WONDERFUL!! Everything I’ve eaten from Bluebird is deliciously on point, not to mention pleasing to the eye (you know they say “you eat with your eyes first”!). Well, your eyes AND your taste buds will thank you. As a big plus, the proprietor is awesome!
