I dealt with Bluebay when I was discharging my morgage, I had a few problems which was no fault of Bluebay, I called a lovely lady named Karen Liamado, who was the most helpful and understanding person I have ever dealt with on the phone, nothing was too much trouble for her and she always put my mind to rest, even after several calls to her she was always happy and very helpful, I thank Karen very much for her professional service, much appreiciated, Phil Porter.
From my experience, Bluebay has been great to deal with, especially for SMSF lending. These types of applications are usually quite tricky, but their process is clear, practical and nowhere near as painful as some other lenders. The credit team is reasonable, the BDMs are easy to reach, and overall the workflow just makes sense, which is a big help when you're trying to keep things moving for clients. This bank is terrible to deal with when calling the office they don't even answer the phone! I'm trying to move banks and they take so long to get all the paperwork organised for the loan to be settled its becoming a joke! I've been going through a broker and even they have issues dealing with this bank. Happy to be moving away from this lender. If you can avoid banking with this lender and it takes a million years to be released from them.
Stay away and do not get lured in bcoz of interest rates or offset accounts. Here are some things to watch for this conglomerate: 1. They operate 4 seperate businesses within one and you will be asked to deal with different departments🫡 2. Poor customer service (offshored) 3. Confusing products and duplication of apps 🫣 4. Lagging IT infrastructure - cannot even reset pwd online (joke ) 5.
