Nurses are friendly, secretaries are friendly The Doctors are money hungry. Personal experience- was driving to my appointment, given I was a little late due to my injury slowing me down(not as easy to get around as it use to be) I realize the time and call ahead. I ask them "I am a little behind, I accidentally left my paperwork and belongings at home, I can go back and get it them if needed if the doctor would prefer?" Excellent care from extremely professional staff.
I recently had a knee replacement and worked with Blue Ridge Physical Therapy. I did four sessions with them before surgery and they gave me exercises to do to prepare for surgery. They helped me understand what to expect from the surgery and the recovery process. The day after I came home from the hospital I was in Physical Therapy with Bill Melchione. He was very supportive and encouraging about the process and exercises I was doing and what kind of progress I could expect. Directions given were very supportive and clear. ... read more
I first visited the facility in recovering from knee-replacement surgery. I gave it a five-star review after I'd completed any therapy. I recently visited it again to receive treatment for a painful shoulder. Dr. Melchione diagnosed the problem more accurately than my primary physician and subsequently organized a course of therapy so carefully designed and monitored that I was able to "graduate" in less than a month.
