My family and I were vacationing at Smith Mountain Lake, when I broke the arm off my glasses. The frames were metal and the arm was snapped clean off. I didn't have a spare pair with me, so I was a little panicked. I was reduced to wearing my prescription sunglasses indoors! I called Blue Ridge Optical on the off-chance they might be able to do something for me. They were very nice, and told me to come on in to the optical shop to see what they could do. Great people and I really liked Dr.Coolbaugh.
Nice, clean, staff is friendly but in my opinion, either too busy or too slow. I believe it's the latter. For example, it shouldn't take nearly 40 minutes for dilation to complete. I almost walked out to find another place. Also, there is one very nice gentleman who will happily help you pick out frames and order glasses - but the problem is that there is ONLY ONE very nice gentleman to help you.
