Awful experience! They lost my 20k ring for over 24 hours, and nothing happened how it was supposed to. When they took my ring to send it to get soldering together, they put it in a plastic bag to send out. A plastic bag?! Each phone conversation was with incompetent after incompetent person. Messages weren’t responded to, after promises they would be. Terrible experience and processes! Never again.

My wedding band was with Blue Nile for months for a repair (first time in 18 years that a repair/resize was needed). Once I finally got it back one of the stones popped out of the setting 2 months later. In 18 years of regular daily wear, nothing like this had ever happened before, and I firmly believe it was due to a poor initial repair job. I naively assumed the company would immediately recognize this and move quickly to remedy it without cost to me. Instead, they charged me $30 to ship it back to them and are now trying ... read more

We just had the most disappointing experience with Blue Nile. My husband ordered custom diamond studs for me for our 10th anniversary, and the backs were impossible to work and the size just wasn't right for my ears. When we contacted Blue Nile, because it was day 33 instead of within the very short for any type of gift giving 30-day return window, they told us they couldn't (wouldn't) help us. Although we had a great experience when we bought our wedding rings, I am here to write a positive review of the after sales service. We have sent our rings back for some resizing, cleaning, and prong tightening. A 100% positive experience on all sides. Thank you Blue Nile!

Whatever you do - avoid this company!! My engagement ring is from there. We have had problems with it from the beginning. They have repaired it multiple times and when I finally asked them to just replace the setting, they refused and sent my broken ring back to me. Customer service is truly awful.
