Very nice family that runs this place. There is a store onsite with a selection of western attire, boots, saddles, and other horse riding accessories. Besides the hourse riding time, Chris gave a little tour of the stables & talked about the horses. We were given a packet of some great information about horses, facts, anatomy, etc. We were allowed to feed the horses some apples that we had brought along. The kids loved the experience.
Date: 10/10/2026. 2pm ride. Very disappointed in length of ride. Promised 45-60 minutes. Barely 40. May be due to late customers who arrived when our trail ride was supposed to start at 2. I was back in my truck, heading N on 51 by 3pm. Yes. Really. Saddle kept slipping during ride...but horse was sweaty as it was warm, had to readjust throughout ride, I was okay doing it......but on dismount, it almost slipped down to her belly. Great owners and staff. Horses are well cared for and so are the riding trails. Their horses are mild mannered and so gentle. Would recommend to anyone looking to try riding for the 1st time or the millionth time.
