Bought a 17kva generator here 18 months ago. The alternator gave up after 700hrs. I have been back and forth with there call centre in the Phillipines for over a month now trying to figure out are they going to repair or replace it. Getting a huge run around between different people. I have spent almost $6000 on hiring a generator from kennards for the last 5 weeks while still no answer from blue diamond. All advertising say they open at 8am but they wont answer the phone till after 9, Not good enough when you need to know if they have parts in stock or we need to order from elsewhere.
We purchased a generator from this company, and it has been faulty. Blue Diamond constantly request us to pay freight to have it shipped back to Melbourne at our expense for Warranty work. Do not buy from this company. We would not recommend them or their products.
My 6kva generator from BD has run very well for years now. So that is good. However, I just discovered their service is also excellent - polite, helpful, looks to minimise cost and highly professional. Full credit to Ashley who came on site for his friendly and professional conduct and clear knowledge of the product. Well done.
A pity that they don't support their products with warranty. Sent photos of the problem and no warranty support. Won't be back for any future purchases
