Where do I begin. My premium went up 700% compared to last year. Some may blame the government and the lack of subsidies this year. I think it has more to do with the federal government in VT + insurance companies. The VT Marketplace is a joke with only two insurance companies to choose from, one being BCBS. I cancelled my coverage with BCBS for January (because paying 1k a month for health insurance doesn’t make any sense) and yet I still receive invoices, emails etc. stating that I have a bill due. I needed info today and called the number on my card. I was never treated so badly as I was today. Rude just doesn’t explain it enough. I was connected to Missy and after 45 minutes I accomplished Absolutely nothing. I’ve never been treated so badly ever by a service company or person. She gave me another phone number to call and when I did, I got a msg that the number was discontinued. Not much help for sure. EVERY YEAR IT JUST KEEPS GOING UP.THIS YEAR $395 AS OF JAN 1ST OF 2026 $427. IM ON DISABILITY AND IT REAL SAD THAT YHIS ALMOST TAKES HALF OF IT. YOU GUYS JUST DONT CARE. IM GOING TO HAVE TO STOP CHEMOTHERAPY THANKS FOR NOTHING.
