I currently have $5000 judgement against this company, never completed work and promised to return my deposit. No luck in getting him to respond. he was served in jail! I dont think I will ever get my money. he was recommended through thumbtack! I really got scammed as well as the tree company that did the work but check not good!

James started off very responsive and accommodating but as soon as I agreed to move forward and gave him a down payment check, which he cashed very quickly, the response time and service declined. He didn't start the project or show up when he said he would. He wasn't on the job watching his subs at all. He was verbally rude to me and didn't complete everything he said he would.

I hired Blu Landscaping (James R*****, Jr.) on September 1, 2017 to landscape my backyard. I signed a contract and paid him a $450.00 deposit, Friday, September 1, 2017, 2:43PM, EST. Over the past five months I have communicated with Mr. R***** multiple times via both phone and txt, but have been unable to get him to move forward with the project. I only give them 1 star because zero was not an option. I contracted James to do a complete sprinkler, landscape and paver job. Paid half received part of a non functioning sprinkler system, 1/4 of the landscaping or less complete. no paver work at all. Nothing but empty promises and no call no shows. after 5 months I fired Mr R. and Blu Landscaping & retained a lawyer. FFFFF Horrible company - - Buyer beware!!

I had a great experience with the company. They delivered a particular sod that I was looking for when others said it would be a month it took them 3 days. It is a great place and would recommend to anyone.

I needed sod for my yard and submitted a request for quoted using a third party internet service. Within 20 minutes of posting the request, James - owner and manager of BLU, responded, saw my property later that day, and provided me a quote that included any irrigation repair or adjustments necessary. I received 3 additional quotes from other service companies, but later and at a higher cost than BLU. I'm not sure what happened with the other issues filed, but I hired Blu Landscaping to landscape my front yard, and everything went beautifully. After my initial call, the owner made an appointment with me right away, showed up on time, and then sent his designer out later the same day. I had a beautiful design delivered to me the next day, along with a very competitive quote, and my landscaping was finished a week later, according to design.
