I called to ask about tax break since I'm disabled and can't work . They want you to go to the court house every year to prove your income and you have to pay the year in full first and then they will give you back 125 dollars if approved they want to know the reason my husband is not working well he takes care of me since I deal with alot of health problems . Everytime I have been in the Assessor’s office, people are friendly and helpful! So nice to be treated in a kind and considerate way!
Not sure what the problem is with our county tax assessors office that they can't provide tax plat maps on line. Other counties do it and we pay way too much property tax for Blount County now.
