We were doing some errands downtown and craved a yummy lunch. Boy, were our expectations exceeded! We had the most INCREDIBLE sandwiched and a bread pudding dessert. Mary and John were super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Will DEFINITELY return. So happy we found this spot!
My new favorite place!!! Amazing selection of salads, and other dishes as well as an incredible selection of artisanal cheeses. Oh and then there’s the sandwiches!!!! And so very friendly and knowledgeable.
I had the "Butcher" sandwich which was very tasty, but I'm trying to figure out how a $14.95 sandwich got to $16.52 on my credit card. There's the cost of the sandwich....$14.95, the 6.25% Mass tax ($0.93), the .75% local tax ($0.12) which comes out to $16.00. That leaves a mysterious 3.5% ($0.52) charge for something...use of a credit card (illegal under Mass law)...?? Takeout fee...?? Hmmm...I guess I should have asked for the receipt.
Mary is so kind and helpful with our cheese selections and sandwiches as first time customers! Very delicious and will be coming back
