My husband and I both used this bank before we got married. I had lots and lots of trouble with the bank so I quit them. My fiance kept using them because they were close. Ha BIG mistake. They never sent his bank statements, they bounced his checks every week. Banks are supposed to put deposits in and be useable same day if before 2pm not this bank. They would get his direct deposit in at midnight and bounce all checks that came in later that day and for the next 3 days causing several hundred dollars in over draft charges. ... read more
A dishonest bank. Here is my story:I went to Bank of Bloomsdale, Crystal City branch, to request a construction loan for building our home. My husband and I were building a small stick frame home with log siding on a property with a few acres, barn, garage, and existing home with a bad foundation. We looked over the plans with lenders and specifically pointed out that the upstairs bedroom was a loft and asked specifically if they did loans for log homes with just a loft.
