They invested some of my portfolio into non-tradable REIT's 14 or more years ago. The REIT's can't be sold because they're a closed investment! I can't get rid of them and Bloomfield tells me I have to deal with it and I still get charged fees. Be careful about what they "sell" you.
We were with them for nearly 20 years. Corey left and while I understand the legal issues surrounding telling people, I was told directly by Beth that our accounts were basically neglected for the last year he was there. We underperformed the market, communication tapered off to basically nothing and even after we started pulling accounts out it was months before Kevin called to take a "temperature check." Believe me when I tell you...You can do better.
My father has been trying to get his money out from these guys for over a year. Constantly getting the run around with different excuses. Please beware.
