Our first time using Mr. Blocker, I have serious concerns about his professionalism. We arrived for our appointment and were kept waiting for 45 minutes. He greeted us wearing socks, walking on the carpet that had not been vacuumed and was littered with shredded paper. Those warning signs were minor after our appointment continued. When we entered his office, a large television display showed a list of his clients, their personal information, and the status of their return, visible to anyone in the office or walking by. We were a longtime customer of Hugh Blocker. We were first with another CPA and he retired and sent us to Hugh. First couple of years were great. We dropped off our paperwork in 2022 at the Crofton office and they said it would not be a problem to get it to Annapolis when we had our tax appt. We showed up at the appt and our paperwork was still in Crofton, so we didn’t get our taxes done that day. Mind you we moved to Massachusetts.
