This place had an incredible improvement! I came here in a couple of years back and the manager was rude and terrible. She stressed out the workers a lot. My family told me the place had improved. I did my taxes in late March 2025 and WOW! The new manager, Marlyng, incredible! Super well spoken and caring. Same tax pros were working much faster and smoother. Zia Parpia (tax preparer at H&R Block located on Miracle Mile) is excellent and if there are questions to be researched she is very thorough in doing what is needed to find out the right answers. Also she is extremely meticulous and she is very patient. Her knowledge of tax rules and tax forms is impressive and her many years of experience provide her with a vast knowledge as tax adviser. Do not go here. I walked in to get some help with my taxes as a walk in which is listed as an option on the website. The front desk guy goes “that’s strange to walk in here without knowing anyone or what you need”. Let me be blunt, I need simple help with my taxes nothing major or complicated what’s really strange is having employees who talk to people this way. Would never take my business to a place like that. To the front desk guy, you’re strange.
