The accountant Diane, who I had an appointment with, was the rudest person ive ever met, completely arrogant and unprofessional. My employer apparently sent me the document with some errors, and she began to blame me for the error and did not let me talk or ask any questions, just repeatedly blame you for something. I absolutely don't recommend this place and would never go back.

This HR Block has the nicest receptionist, but the lady behind the cubicle is the rudest person I have ever met. And that is saying a lot for NYC. I visited this location last year but was told that she did not have time to look at my taxes (even though I had an appointment). I went somewhere else. This year I needed to have HR Block amend a previous year's return. I went back to this location to ask a question. We had been using the previous owner’s services (to file for my family and myself) Gary Reska for 35 years. When we needed to file for taxes this year, we called and they didn’t say he was no longer working there or that the company ownership had changed (just so we can be their *new* client unbeknownst to us!). They are way overpriced at over $400+ for my parents and $400+ as well for single filing myself, extremely terrible communication skills of receptionist and accountant.
