I wished that I would have had the same experience as those that wrote a review prior to me that were happy with the service. My experience was the complete opposite. H&R Block representative NEVER filed my taxes even after many follow-up phone calls and in person visits. She assured me that she would have my taxes submitted by the April 2024 deadline even though she had all of my paperwork 2 weeks prior. Too overpriced to receive the bare minimum services. You're better off doing it yourself. As what was provided you can do online. No tax advice, no consulting. Just punch everything in the system that is on your return and that's it. Like is said. You can do that yourself. If I could give them -5 stars I would.
Just WOW. I can't believe anyone in the service industry could so confidently talk down to a customer from the second they walk in the door. I finally walked out when I was through with being spoken down to while someone fumbles through figuring out if they might be able to help me. She answered 2 phone calls and stayed on the phone for a few minutes with each of them within minutes of me walking in for my appointment. As I walked out, she was hollering, "no, just wait here."
