They were supposed to do my wife and my taxes. They forgot to file my w2 until my bank mortgage lady asked why I had no income this year. Then Diana at block did the amended and messed that up too. My wife and I ended up getting an 1800 bill from the IRS because my return was filed so late and filed wrong. All leading to hours on the phone with the IRS and endless headaches. Karen Manring is the best at helping me do my annual tax return. Have used her for years and I love how fast, efficient, dependable and accurate she is each year. Always look forward to talking with her and having her find me the tax breaks I need.
Their prices have become insanely high. There is no excuse for doubling the cost of their services in three years. Go elsewhere!
The system paired me up with an advisor but when I got there it was someone completely different. I did not like how they charge more each year. I feel bad for taking my partner there as everywhere else we have gone before Block he has paid $150 but this year they charged him almost $400 when he provided same documentation as the past years. Definitely not coming back to H&R Block. Seems like they charge you what ever they want based on the advisor you get.
