I filed my taxes and paid an unreasonably high price in August and know it's October and I've still haven't received my refund.I talked to the manager there and he refused to help me tell me to call himI did and still nothing. Today October 15th I called the IRS and they told me that Block advisors have my refund, so I called and I was to call back in half an hour. They ask you to pay first for their fees and just after that they kind of half-ass prepare your tax returns, trying to get as least as possible work or avoiding complications for themselves and then they disappear, regardless of whether or not your tax returns have been filed on time or not. Penalties by tax authorities for their mistakes are not their problem!
