They ask you to pay first for their fees and just after that they kind of half-ass prepare your tax returns, trying to get as least as possible work or avoiding complications for themselves and then they disappear, regardless of whether or not your tax returns have been filed on time or not. I booked an appointment four days in advance, with a person whose profile seemed to match my specific needs. I had a lot of questions, as a new business owner. The day before my appointment, the person I was scheduled to meet with messaged to say she had a conflict and wondered if a phone call was alright instead.
