Was scheduled for Saturday and they no showed and I could not get a hold of anyone. This is the second time I have scheduled an appointment. Unreliable.
Stay away!!! These people will take your money without a second thought. I had Nancy. She’s slow and old and didn’t seem to know how to help me get the most from my taxes. She spent a total of 2.5 hours with me to file two years of taxes. They charged me $650 to file 2023 and $650 to file 2024. I’m a small business (and a single mom) that brings in about 50k a year, so to come up with that (without being warned upfront) was insane! I cried in the middle of my appointment! Advisor Lynda Cramer did not spend adequate time nor exercise diligent care in preparing my taxes. I went to Block Advisors for professional help, gave them every document, allowed them time, offered to meet with them as many times as they needed, but ended up receiving taxes with serious mistakes, thousands of dollars unaddressed, no apology, insults, and being in a worse position than I was walking in.
