I booked an appointment online, they didn’t honor it. Instead, they called me to change the time. My appointment was with Jackson Mbithi. He kept making mistakes entering personal information for me, my wife, and the kids. With so many mistakes, I took my papers and asked him to stop working on my taxes. Been using Block in Roxbury and occasionally Sparta (depending which is more convenient that year) for years. They handled my fairly complex personal and business taxes. Overall - professional, thorough, knowledgeable. Had an issue once about 15 years ago and they resolved the tax liability with their a Peace of Mind guarantee. Prior to Block, I had a CPA which was much more expensive. After switching, never looked back! Highly recommend.
Jackson didnt reveal the cost of him doing the taxes until the very end. he charged me the entire refund check I would have gotten for him to do the taxes. Utterly ridiculous
Alex got me in the same day I called. I had several years of unfiled taxes and she made it VERY easy to get caught up. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was with my experience. My fiancee will be using her next year also.
