The staff were very friendly when I came in. However this place is not have a (van) to go on outings. The administrator complained about cost., Keeping costs down. You need to spend money to make money. Entertainment is expensive, however, everything must be done the resident. I worked in healthcare long enough, that administration gets a bonus if they keep the cost low. I believe it is critical for residents of going outings a few times a week. Not a fan. Resident care staff is decent but seem rushed for training leading to mistakes being made. The manager of the facility while decent at her job seems to treat the staff below her like they are actually beneath her. The building always seems to be short staffed having a high turnover rate for employees. I feel the employees are underpaid for the responsibilities place upon them and that the staff should be able to sit down and get to know each resident as a guest would in an actual home.
