Really enjoyed our visit to Bleasdale. Great selection of wines. Damen was a superb host. Didn't disappoint since our last visit in 1998!

Great wines and great value wines. The cellar door for Bleasdale was well worth the extra drive from Adelaide. This is a wine area that deserves more attention. Well established wineries and great wine makers. We tried the Grenache and Grenache blends plus the fortified. All very good wines and well priced. The basket press was a classic piece of engineering. Well worth the visit. Would go back there in the future.

We called in as we were driving past, and they were not busy, but it would probably pay to book if you are a large group. We had some amazing goats cheese and crackers to eat while I sampled several of their range of wines. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of some of the wines tasted and had the $10 flight fee deducted, which was a nice bonus. I wasn't rushed to... read more

Not a place to visit for wine lovers. No complimentary tasting, you must do a wine flight and taste all of the same varietals for a fee. Who wants to only taste all the Shiraz or cab sav? If you like to taste regional specialities and maybe try just a few of what takes your fancy then this is not the place for you. Service not very friendly, you will be treated like a tour bus crowd even if you are just a couple. Nice wine, but what a shame, I won't be back and probably will hesitate to buy Bleasdale wine again.
