Whilst I have tasted and enjoyed the occasional red wine from Bleasdale in the past, I was recently made aware of the delicious Chardonnay that they also make. Having now consumed and thoroughly enjoyed quite a few bottles of the current vintage of Chardonnay, I was introduced to their Press Club and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wine and wants to try a good cross section of both red and white wines as well as a Rose or sparkling. We appreciated the informative and well curated tasting from Dean. Some delicious wines from this historic producer. An enjoyable addition to our time in the region.
Called in while travelling and as usual we were given a family welcome with the usual enthusiasm. The new renovations were lovely. Once again knowledge of the wines was exceptional and new products were shown to us. We enjoyed our visit and left with a few boxes to take home.
We came across Bleasdale winery just by chance as it was so inviting from the outside with his buildings surrounded by vineyards we thought we would pop in for a quick tasting. Damien, who is actually a direct descendant of Frank Potts whose family have run the winery since the 1850 was there to offer us a sample of their wines.
