I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY Blankenship's first task was to file a 941X. They made a significant error on the form, involving a simple subtraction of two numbers. This has now been magnified into a situation where we've been threatened by penalties from the IRS/SSA. We should have received a refund on Q1 2021 and as a result of the mistake, the IRS believes we owe. Over six months ago, I was promised a refund from Blankenship for the work related to this issue. After a not so pleasant experience with a previous firm, our not for profit organization used Blankenship to do our required annual audits. We were in a bit of a bind and what we had to pull off in a short amount of time was going to be challenging, to say the least. Simply said, Blankenship was amazing. I have retained Blankenship to handle all of my tax requirements for the past 2 years and I'm very satisfied with their work. My taxes are a bit complicated since I have several sources of income, but nothing I've thrown at them to date has caused them any problems. I'd recommend them to anybody and have indeed recommended them to several friends.
