Some of the kindest staff you’ll ever meet. Great pitstop on road trips.
If your out here working or just passing through.. this is an awesome spot to grab a BBQ sandwich. It's smoked and real. The store has lots of good items too, without having to trek all the way back to Redmill.
I just found BWTP even though ive driven by if for years. This place is a hidden gem, really. It looks like a backwoods country store, and that all it really is, but with exceptional food and customer service. The BBQ bacon burger is worth the drive from Norfolk. That'd all I've eaten but everything else looks good as well. They have ice cream also, no shakes that I saw. You can put in a small boat or kayak from the parking lot for a small fee. Great local country store.
Came for ice cream, kids and I were a big fan! Will definitely make this a routine treat. I recommend the blueberry cheesecake flavor, YUM!
