DO NOT BUY This is a warning about product quality and warranty service. I purchased an alternator in October 2025 that failed after one use. Before returning, a local supplier confirmed the fault, and their replacement unit (installed the exact same way) has worked perfectly since. Blackstar Marine advertises conflicting pulley sizes (65mm advertised / 50mm shipped), and after I corrected the pulley myself (a modification which lessens strain), they suggested it might void the warranty.
