Avoid This Retirement Home – Serious Issues with Management and Care I would strongly advise against placing a loved one in this retirement home. Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare due to the poor management, unethical practices, and lack of proper care for residents. First and foremost, the facility engaged in unauthorized withdrawals from my mother’s bank account using the numbers at the bottom of her personal checks—while the check was still in her pocket! I've been to the Blackburn Seniors Residence several times since the new management and it's a wonderful home. The Management and Staff are welcoming, friendly and loving. Their demeanor shows you a caring and loving team. A place to work and live at.The home is clean and taken care of. The home served special and healthy menu for all to enjoy.
