After an unfortunate accident, these ladies provided me with the best possible care. Jodi was empithetic, patient, kind and oh so wonderful. I am greatful beyond words. The office is a nice open environment. As long as I'm in Nelson, I would never go anywhere else for the health of my hands. Highly recommend.

I met christy when I saw dr Laverty in the office as I have a disability and had no thumbs and that I had broken my wrist and fingers so we decided to splint my right hand for few weeks so after few weeks I had surgery repaired my wrist a mother splint was made as the next appointment with dr Laverty and christy my mom mentioned that my sister said couldn’t they put something so I can grip stuff and Christy had made a splint thumb modded it around my mothers thumb and my life changed forever thanks for my new beginning of ha... read more
I was having chronic hand pain that I couldn't shake for a few months. I figured it was the beginning of a long haul with arthritis. At my first appointment with Christy she zeroed in on the possible problem right away. I followed her instructions and after a few sessions checking the progress and tweaking treatment the pain eased and I'm now totally pain free. I highly recommend Christy and the rest of Blackbird Physio!
I was dealing with "tennis elbow" and everyone I talked to said "Oh that's hard to get rid of." Well, two sessions with Jodi from Blackbird Physio and the symptoms have almost completely resolved! Highly knowledgeable and with excellent results.
