1950 maple table George stripped and refinished a maple table for me. The job was very well done and I was extremely happy with the work. I would highly recommend them.
Chairs Restored! I have brought 2 antique wooden chairs to Black Oak to be refinished. Both chairs had been badly damaged in moving. Though it took time to have the work done, the work was EXCELLENT! The chairs, which were a pair, came back even more beautiful then they were when new. Also, the chairs were refinished at 2 different times and they still matched the color. Beautiful Work on Antique Dresser We brought in an antique, damaged dresser for refinishing. The end result was excellent. The store seems a bit disorganized, but they did get the job done and done very well.
Terrible Customer Service First I emailed Black Oak with a question and never heard from them. Then I called to get a quote for stripping the dark stain off my bookcase. I was given a fair price so figured the unreturned email may have been a fluke. This was a terrible decision. They came and got my bookcase and three weeks later returned it the exact color that it left my house, with only the varnish stripped off.
